What we work on
Each program here grew out of a real conversation with the communities we work in. None of it happens in isolation, education opens up health, health supports income, income builds resilience.
Our primary and pre-primary schools. Education is where most of our work begins. We run early learning support for pre-school and primary-age children from landless families, and provide bursaries that carry promising students through secondary school, diploma and to university education. For many of the children we work with, school is the first realistic chance at a different kind of future.

Our healthcare centre, health training, medicines, community visits and basic health assessments. We help connect families to basic healthcare services that are otherwise hard to reach or afford, from routine check-ups, to trainings to support during health emergencies, because a healthy community is the foundation everything else is built on.

Our three 4-year diplomas and eight skill training programs. Our technical and vocational training programs teach practical, employable skills to young people and adults alike. The goal isn't just income, it's the self-respect and independence that comes with being able to earn your own way.

Girls in our service area face extra barriers to staying in school, from cost to pressure around early marriage. Our bursary program covers the costs that often end a girl's education early, keeping the door to secondary school, and everything after it, open.

Some needs can't wait for a program cycle. When a family is hit by an emergency — a medical crisis, a lost harvest, a disaster — we step in with direct relief meant to bridge the gap between crisis and stability, not just plug it temporarily.

Every student in our programs plants and tends a tree each year. It's a small ritual with a long horizon — building a habit of stewardship in the next generation while helping push back against environmental pressure on a region already feeling the effects of a changing climate.
