Inauguration of the OfP Healthcare Centre

For families far from a clinic, distance and cost can turn a small health problem into a serious one. In 2022 we opened the OfP Healthcare Centre to close that gap — offering free, basic community healthcare both at the centre and, when needed, at people's doorsteps.

The centre runs the kind of simple, regular care that prevents bigger problems: checks like blood pressure and blood sugar, basic medicines, and advice that helps people manage their health before it becomes an emergency.

Just as important is the work that happens beyond the centre's walls. Our health workers travel into the villages to test and advise families who would otherwise face a long, costly journey for the most routine care.

Health is the ground everything else stands on. A healthy child can learn; a healthy adult can work. By bringing care closer to home, we hope fewer families ever have to choose between a day's wages and a day's treatment.
